This week, in the first of a series on the Old Testament book of Amos, Brian sets the stage for this book of warnings against injustice and greed. The nation of Israel had kept up the appearance of being God's people, but their worship was empty, as they mistreated the poor, abused the justice system, and relied on their own wealth and power. The warnings are relevant to us today.
